Betriebsrat :Revolutionary changes

With the advent of modern techniques and globalization, the innovations are being circulated in all over the world. Workforce is also relocating from one country to another country because of globalisitaion. When people relocate from one country to another country then they bring knowledge of the culture and even the awareness of right is spread all over the world. When awareness about the rights was gained by the employees, then they thought to have an organization, which should not be the part of organization or the management but could raise voice for them. Employees wanted to participate in the process of decision making. As they are the stakeholders in the companies, so it was not wrong to demand to participate in the strategic planning process. Betriebsrat helps them in this process. All good organizations must have a Betriebsrat. It is a group of people who represent the workers. They do not have to be union members. They can be formed in companies where neither the employees nor the employers are organized. Members of the Betriebsrat may be elected by the company workforce. They may be in command for a period of about four years. The members of the Betriebsrat may also be appointed by the board of directors of that company.
